The Magic Mist Maker is an ultrasonic mist maker. It vibrates water into a dense, slow mist rather than heating it, so what comes out is cool to the touch and safe to put your hand through.
Four colour LEDs sit under the surface, so the light rises through the mist and the mist carries the colour with it as it spills over the rim.
It runs off any USB you already own. At 5V and 5W, a phone charger, a laptop, or a power bank in the middle of a garden table will all run it. There is no wiring and no adapter to lose.
Setup takes under a minute. Fill any bowl, vase or tabletop fountain, lay the unit flat on the bottom with the mist outlet about 2 cm under the surface, and plug in the USB. A metal sensing head cuts the power the moment it loses contact with water, and water-shortage protection stops it running dry, so you can leave it on and forget about it.
